Chun Jiang Hua Yue Ye (春江花月夜) - Spring Moonlight on the Flowers by the River, Nationalities orchestra (民族管弦乐), was composed by Liu Yaozhang (柳晓章) in 1925 based on the lute music 'Flutes and Drums at Sunset'.

"Spring Moonlight on the Flowers by the River" It was originated from the lute music "Flutes and Drums at Sunset" ("Xunyang Lute", "Xunyang in Moonlight"). In 1925, it was adapted by Liu Yaozhang, a member of Shanghai's Datong Music Conservatory, into a piece of China nationalities orchestra.
《春江花月夜》原是一首琵琶独奏曲，名《夕阳箫鼓》，又名《夕阳箫歌》，《浔 阳琵琶》，《浔阳夜月》，《浔阳曲》。在1925年，上海大同乐会的柳晓章和郑 文首次将其改编成民族管弦乐曲。通过委婉质朴的旋律，流畅多变的节奏，巧妙细 腻的配器，丝丝入扣的演奏，乐曲形象地描绘了月夜春江的迷人景色，尽情赞颂江 南水乡的风姿异态。全曲就象一幅工笔精细、色彩柔和、清丽淡雅的山水长卷，引 人入胜。
