Disabling Form Auto-Completion in IE
This section provides a tutorial example on how to review and disable auto-completion on form entries and passwords in IE (Internet Explorer).
The next IE (Internet Explorer) option area to review and modify is related to Web form auto-completion.
1. Run IE and click "Tools > Internet Options" menu. Then click the "Content" tab.
2. Click the "Settings" button in the "AutoComplete" Section. You will see a dialog box with auto-completion settings.
3. Review and change settings as suggested below:
AutoComplete lists possible matches from entries you've typed or visited before. Use AutoComplete for [ ] Address bar [ ] Forms [ ] User names and passwords on forms
Unchecking all options listed above turns off auto-completion in IE.
3. Click "Ok" to save changes.
