What Is Microsoft Excel? Microsoft Excel is a spreadsheet tool which allows you to enter numerical values or text data into rows and columns of a spreadsheet document. Microsoft Excel is included in the Microsoft Office product suite.

The version of Microsoft Excel on my Windows XP system is Microsoft Office Word 2003 (11.8169.8172) SP3.
