PKI Digital Signature
This section describes the PKI digital signature process, which ensures the sender's identity and the document's integrity.
Based on my understanding, here are high level steps of PKI digital signature process:
1. The sender generates a digital signature from the original document using his/her private key.
2. The sender delivers the document, the digital signature, and his/her certificate.
3. The receiver verifies sender's certificate with CA to ensure the identity of the sender.
4. The receiver verifies the digital signature using sender's public key to ensure the integrity of the received document.
