∟Windows 7: Action Center Security Message Settings

This section provides a tutorial example on how to review security message settings in Action Center on Windows 7 system.

After reviewing security messages, you should review Action Center settings to improve security protections.

1. Go to "Control Panel\System and Security\Action Center" You will see the "Action Center" screen.

2. Click the "Change Action Center settings" link. You will see Action Center settings.

3. Check checkboxes to turn on all security messages: 

Turn messages on or off

For each selected item, Windows will check for problems and send
you a message if problems are found.

   [x] Network firewall
   [x] Spyware and related protection
   [x] User Account Control
   [x] Virus protection
