This section provides a tutorial example on how to review security messages in Action Center on Windows 7 system.

The next item in your security protection plan is to review security related messages and settings in Windows "Action Center".

1. Go to "Control Panel\System and Security\Action Center" You will see the "Action Center" screen.

2. Click on "Security" section. You will see security related messages and settings.

3. Review each and every security message and follow up with actions.

For example, I see one red security message on my Windows 7 computer. I think I need to turn on Windows Update. 

Windows Update (Important)

To enhance the security and performance of your computer, we
recommend that you turn on Windows Update.
