∟Setting Privacy Level to Medium High in IE

This section provides a tutorial example on how to review and set privacy level to Medium High for Internet Web sites in IE (Internet Explorer).

The next IE (Internet Explorer) option area to review and modify is related to privacy protection.

1. Run IE and click "Tools > Internet Options" menu. Then click the "Privacy" tab.

2. Review and change settings as suggested below:

Select a setting for the Internet zone
   Medium High
      - Blocks third-party cookies that do not have a compact
        privacy policy
      - Blocks third-party cookies that save information that can be
        used to contact you without your explicit consent
      - Blocks first-party cookies that save information that can be
        used to contact you without your explicit consent

[x] Never allow websites to request your physical location
[x] Turn on Pop-up Blocker
[x] Disable toolbars and extensions when InPrivate Browsing starts

Note that some Web sites, link linkedin.com, may not work if the privacy level is set to "High". Here are details of the "High" level:

   High
      - Blocks all cookies from websites that do have a compact
        privacy policy
      - Blocks cookies that save information that can be used to
        contact you without your explicit consent
