Security Options: Add-Ons and Passwords
This section provides a tutorial example on how to review and modify security option settings on add-on installation and master password in Firefox.
The next group of Firefox option settings to review and modify are located on the "Security" tab.
1. Run Firefox and click "Tools > Options" menu. Then click the "Security" tab.
2. Review and change security option settings as suggested below:
[x] Warn me when sites try to install add-ons [x] Block reported attach sites [x] Block reported web forgeries [ ] Remember passwords for sites [ ] Use a master password
It's very important that you do not allow Firefox to remember passwords when you login to different Web applications.
Also never allow Firefox to use a single master password for all Web applications you are visiting.
