Keeping Firefox Up To Date
This section provides a tutorial example on how to keep Firefox up to date by checking and installing newer versions.
In order to keep Firefox secure, you need to keep Firefox up to date with latest security features and fixes.
1. Run Firefox and click "Help > About Firefox" menu. You will see the version number of your Firefox. In my case, I was using "Firefox 26.0".
2. Click the "Check for update" button before the version number Firefox will start to download the latest version.
3. Wait until the download is done. Firefox will ask you to restart Firefox to finish installing the newer version.
4. Click the "Restart to Update" button. Firefox will restart and run the newer version.
