Playing Flash as "object[@classid]" on IE 10
This section provides a tutorial example on how IE 10 uses the 'classid' attribute to identify the Flash Play ActiveX to play a Flash file specified in the 'param' sub element.
To see how Firefox uses the 'classid' attribute to identify the Flash Player ActiveX to play a Flash file, I opened object_classid_swf.html created in the previous section with IE 10, and saw animations running in all 3 test sections with no security warning messages:
What I learned from the result:
Comparing with Firefox 26, IE 10 behaves better on playing Flash files provided in "object" elements if the "classid" attribute is provided.
