String Literals with Line Breaks

This section describes string literals with line breaks.

String literals with line breaks are supported in the double-quote enclosed format.

The following example shows a "string" literal contains line breaks:

# "Daffodils" by William Wordsworth
write("I wandered lonely as a cloud
That floats on high o'er vales and hills,
When all at once I saw a crowd,
A host, of golden daffodils;
Beside the lake, beneath the trees,
Fluttering and dancing in the breeze.");
