Playing Movie with FFmpeg "ffplay" Command

This section provides a tutorial example on how to use the FFmpeg 'ffplay' command to play movie file stored in MPEG4 (*.mp4) format.

In order to play the FFmpeg tool and video stream SWF files, let's go download a short animation movie called "Animation Showreel 2009" produced by Tony Mines:

Now open a command window and use "ffplay" from FFmpeg to play the movie:

C:\>cd \herong
C:\herong>\local\ffmpeg\bin\ffplay Tony_reelshow_2009_512kb.mp4

The movie will be played. Enjoy it.
