Deleting Cookies Stored in Firefox
This section provides a tutorial example on how to delete all cookies currently stored in Firefox and change settings to ask Firefox to delete new cookies when the browser is closed.
Cookies stored on your computer are always a security risk. So I decide to delete all cookies currently stored by Firefox and set Firefox to auto-delete cookies, when I close the Firefox browser:
1. Run Firefox, and click "Tools > Options... > Privacy > Show Cookies...". The Cookies dialog box shows up.
2. Click "Remove All Cookies" and click "Close" to close the dialog box.
3. Back on the Privacy tab, select the "I close Firefox" option in the "Keep until" field in the Cookies section as shown in this picture:
With this setting, Firefox will automatically delete all cookies created by any Website when I close the Firefox browser.
