Always Show Icons, Never Thumbnails
This section provides a tutorial example on how to control picture icon or thumbnail display options in Windows Explorer.
If you follow the tutorial in the previous section and only see large icons displayed instead of thumbnail pictures, you need to change following folder view option setting:
1. Go to folder, C:\Windows\Web\Wallpaper\Landscapes.
2. Click menu: Organize > Folder and search options. You see the Folder Options dialog box showing up.
3. Click View tag and click "Always show icons, never thumbnails" to make unchecked.
3. Click OK to apply the change. You see large icons being replaced by large picture thumbnails.
Actually, for better performance, you should make "Always show icons, never thumbnails" checked to display icons only:
