"soap12:binding" - Binding Message Style and Transportation
This section describes 'soap12:binding', a SOAP extension element that specifies the binding message protocol and the transportation protocol, SOAP 1.2 over HTTP, for example.
"soap12:binding" is a SOAP extension element used as a sub element of the "wsdl:binding" top element. "soap12:binding" is used to specify that this binding is bound to the SOAP 1.2 message protocol and a given transportation protocol. The syntax of "soap12:binding" looks like this:
<wsdl:definitions ...> <wsdl:binding ...> <soap12:binding transport="uri" style="rpc|document"/> </wsdl:binding> </wsdl:definitions>
Notes on the "soap12:binding" element:
Here is an example of "soap12:binding" element:
<wsdl:binding name="helloBinding" type="hy:helloPortType"> <soap12:binding style="document" transport="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/http"/> <wsdl:operation name="Hello"> ... </wsdl:operation> </wsdl:binding>
