AFAIK, there's no standard base64 encoders in JavaSE. But Sun does have an implementation. Have a look at http://www.herongyang.com/encoding/Base64-Sun-Java-Implementation.html . I tested it with your code (replace Base64Coder with Base64), and it worked fine. ...
