File Directory Structure on an Example Movie VCD

This section provides an example of the file directory structure of a real movie VCD.

A VCD (Video CD) 2.0 has a well defined file directory tree structure. Here is a good example that I got from one of my VCD collection:

1. Insert the VCD into the CD drive. The CD is recognized by the Windows system as drive "D:".

2. Run the following commands in a command window:

C:\>dir /s d:

Volume in drive D has no label.
 Volume Serial Number is AEFA-1F4A

 Directory of D:\

Cool. It tells that I have two SCSI buses with a DVD recorder and hard disk connected to them.
