Yahoo! Ads Displaced in Yahoo! Email
This section provides an example of Yahoo! ads get displaced downward on Yahoo! email page. This symptom could be related malware 'Tube Dimmer'.
One symptom that could be related to "Tube Dimmer" malware is that Yahoo! ads gets displaced in Yahoo! email based on what I learned from my first-hand experience on an infected Windows 7 system.
1. On the infected Windows 7 system, I opened the Yahoo! email box with Firefox.
2. I saw the Yahoo! ad got displaced downward for about 160px as shown below:
It seems to me that the malware was trying to displace the Yahoo! ad and insert its own ad. But failed halfway.
I guess this symptom is caused by "Tube Dimmer" malware, since it disappeared when I removed "Tube Dimmer". But I don't have any proof.
