Takeaways:

With HotSpot JVM 10, you can launch 64 heavy running threads on a Windows 7 computer. But the computer system become slows.
You can increase the number of heavy running threads to 2048 without crashing the JVM HotSpot 1.7.0_45, but the computer system become extremely slows.
JVM JRockit 28.7 on a Windows 7 system takes much longer to launch the same number of heavy running threads comparing to JVM HotSpot 1.7.0_45.
