string.length() Function
This section describes the string.length() function
The string.length() function is defined in the following syntax:
string.length(a) Parameters: a - A "string" data object Return: Returns a new "integer" data object representing the number of characters in the given string.
Examples of how to use string.length() function:
string.length("bla"*3); # the result is 9 string.length("a\tb"); # the result is 3
