Submit SOAP Requests to the Server
This section provides a tutorial example on how to submit a test request to the server represented by the port location defined in the WSDL document
To validate the SOAP request created in the previous tutorial, I used the submit function to call the web service with the SOAP request.
1. Continue from the previous tutorial.
2. Look at the icon area below the title bar of the request editor, the port location, https://www.herongyang.com/Service/Hello_SOAP_11.php, provided in my WSDL document is displayed.
3. Click the triangle icon, the one that says "Submit request to specified endpoint URL". In a second or two, the SOAP response received from my Hello Web service server will be displayed.
Here is content of the response received for the test request:
<soapenv:Envelope xmlns:soapenv="http://schemas.xmlsoap.org/soap/envelope/" xmlns:hy="https://www.herongyang.com/Service/"> <soapenv:Header/> <soapenv:Body> <hy:HelloResponse> Hello from server - herongyang.com. </hy:HelloResponse> </soapenv:Body> </soapenv:Envelope>
