The ZipArchive Class

What Is ZipArchive Class? -
ZipArchive is a built-in PHP class that provides you creating new ZIP archives, extracting
files from existing ZIP archives, and other functionalities.
Here is a list of some main methods provided by the ZipArchive class:
- $zip = $zip = new ZipArchive:
Creates an instance of the ZipArchive class as $zip.
Associates the given ZIP archive to $zip.
Option flags can be provided to create new or update/extract existing ZIP archives.
Closes the associated ZIP archive.
Adds the given file to the associated ZIP archive.
Adds the given string as a file to the associated ZIP archive.
Adds the given path name as empty directory to the associated ZIP archive.
Adds files that match the regular expression pattern from a given directory.
The operation is not recursive. The pattern will be matched against the file name only.
Extract the complete archive or the given files to the specified destination.
Deletes an entry in the associated archive using its name.
Sets the password for the associated archive.
