This section provides some basic knowledge of the solar system.

The solar system is the star system where our Earth is located. The solar system has the following main celestial objects:

• The star - the Sun, which is the center of the solar system.
• The planets - Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto. Planets are rotating in their orbits around the Sun.
• The satellites of some planets - the moon of the Earth, and other satellites.
• Comets, asteroids, and meteoroids.
