Installing Trusted Root Certificate on Android phone
This section provides a tutorial example on how to install a trusted root certificate on Android phone from storage.
After downloading a certificate to your Android phone storage, you need to install it as a trusted certificate in "Settings".
1. Tap on "Settings > Security" and scroll down to the "Credential storage" section.
2. Tap on "Install from storage - Install certificates from storage". The list of certificates in the "Download" folder is displayed.
3. Select "Root-R1.crt" certificate file that you downloaded previously.
4. Name the certificate as "GlobalSign" and tap on "OK". The certificate is installed.
