Samsung Galaxy Storage Usage
This section provides a tutorial example on how to view tablet storage size and usage. Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 comes with 8GB total storage.
After checking the Android OS version on my mini tablet, I want to know how much storage I have.
Tap on "Settings", then "Storage". I see the following information:
Total space - Total device capacity: 8.00GB System memory - The minimum amount of storage space required to run the system: 2.72GB Used space - The amount of storage space current being used: 1.53GB Cached data: 330MB Miscellaneous files - The amount of memory used to store miscellaneous files: 254MB
Not too bad. The mini tablet came with 8GB. I have used about 4.8GB. About 3.2GB free space is available on the mini tablet.
