Launching Android Emulator in AVD Manager

This section provides a tutorial example on how to launch an Android emulator with the Android Virtual Device (AVD) created in the AVD Manager.

With the Android Virtual Device (AVD) created as shown in the previous tutorial, you can run a Android emulator on your Windows system now.
1. Double-click on "C:\local\android-sdk-windows\AVD Manager.exe". "MyAVD", the AVD created earlier will show up in the AVD list.
2. Select "MyAVD" and click the "Start..." button. The "Launch Options" box will show up.
3. Keep all default values and click "Launch".
The Android emulator window will show up:
